When completed, this passive and active state-of-the art recreational facility will include fields for soccer, the fastest-growing sport, as well as the more traditional games of football and baseball. Other sports facilities include basketball and volleyball courts. The park's hub for social gatherings will take place at a planned pavilion with various picnic facilities. Highly praised stage productions are presented frequently by the Brundage Playhouse community theater group. Their productions are held usually at the playhouse on Carrell Road.
