Morris County’s most populous municipality is a business-oriented community with its share of traditional streets and neighborhoods. Four major highways bisect the township, which has seen a big increase in population since 1960. Parsippany is comprised of many diverse and charming neighborhoods, high quality business campuses, excellent school and library systems and an extraordinary park system. 

The Township prides itself in its fine services with its own water and sewer facilities, one of the most friendly and effective recycling programs in the area and a fine police department, one of only three nationally accredited departments in New Jersey.

One of the most interesting communities is Mount Tabor. Owned by the Mt. Tabor Methodist Camp Meeting Association, Mount Tabor is a small community made up of approximately 350 houses, most of them small Victorian homes, clustered together on tiny lots of land. According to Parsippany mayor Mimi Letts, the community still has its original tabernacle and firehouse and much of the charm of an age long past.

Parsippany provides many other services aimed at improving the quality of life for its residents such as free bus service, three neighborhood branch libraries, a beautiful community center, a first-rate community theater company and attractive, well maintained community gardens. In addition, the Township owns 16 award-winning parks with 25 ball fields, plus two 18 hole golf courses, one of which is rated among the best in the State.

Public Schools
Excellent Parsippany Township Public Schools. Mt. Tabor School (Kindergarten-5th Grades). Brooklawn Middle School (6th-8th Grades). Parsippany Hills High School. Many exclusive, private elementary and Prep/Boarding/Catholic high schools are also available within a few miles.

Transportation
Easy access to Routes 202, 24, 46, 53, 10, I-80 and I-280 and I- 287. The Lakeland bus offers service to New York City. Limousine service is available to Morristown Airport and helicopter service to all major metropolitan airports is supplied by Morristown Airport. A few minutes drive to Morris Plains Train Station for the Midtown Direct train to New York City

Excellent department stores, specialty shops, catering to virtually every taste. Morris County mall, Morristown Center (15 minutes), Livingston mall, Short Hills mall, Rockaway Townsquare Mall.
